Caltex gas station owner abducted

JOLO,  Sulu/8 April 2012—A franchisee of a Caltex Gas Station in this town was abducted at his residence by seven armed men just five hours ago.

Kidnapped at about 7:30 in the evening of 7 April 2012, is Engineer Carlos Tee, an employee of the Air Transportation Office in Jolo Municipality and owner of the fuel station was taken at his home along Hadji Butu Extension, this town.  He was then forced to board a Toyota Tamaraw 6-seater which escaped towards Scott Road, and later to the direction of Asturias Road. The vehicle, witnesses said, headed towards Indanan town, where it was last seen.

The Jolo Municipal Police could not provide added information as of this posting, but assured that they will exert efforts in pursuing the abductors and rescue Tee. (CLT, The Philsouth Angle)
