Masked Sayyaf men kidnap 2 Patikul residents

PATIKUL, SULU/03 May 2013—Some ten masked heavily armed men of the Abu Sayyaf Group were reported to have abducted this morning two civilian-residents of Sahaya Village in Latih, Patikul.

Police identified the victims as 30-year old  Awan Usman, and 32-year old Boy Nunung.  They were forcibly taken  at the vicinity of Baunoh Butong, Kilometer 5 in Latih, at about 8:30 this morning.

Police investigators of Patikul said the motives are not yet determined, and they are still conducting a probe on the incident.  (The PhilSouth Angle)
