ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines/05 November 2009–In line with Pag-IBIG Fund’s “Tapat na Serbisyo” slogan, the Fund will be generating permanent Pag-IBIG I.D. numbers of active Employers. Active employers are those with updated monthly membership contributions with employer counterparts of their respective employees. Certificates of Employer’s Registration (COER) shall likewise be issued to these employers.  Employers are then required to accomplish and submit the Employer’s Data Form (EDF) together with the requirements to the Marketing and Enforcement Division as soon as possible.

Requirements of Employers are:

For Sole Proprietorship: DTI Registration, Mayor’s Permit/Business Permit and Certificate of SSS coverage and compliance.

For Partnership/Corporation: SEC Registration, Certificate of SSS coverage and compliance and Articles of Partnership/Incorporation and By-laws.

For Cooperative: Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Certificate, Certificate of Membership, Member’s Affidavit of Income, List of Members and List of Officers.

For Trade Association:  SEC Certificate of Registration, Articles and By-Laws of Incorporation, Certificate of Membership, Member’s Affidavit of Income, List of Members and List of Officers.

Pag-IBIG will also be issuing the Transaction Cards to their respective employees bearing their permanent I.D. numbers this coming December 2009.  We are reminding some Employers or Members to comply with the data needed in the Members Records Updating Template (MRUT) full middle name and birthdate to avoid delay in the issuance of the transaction cards.

We are also calling all unregistered employers to comply with the mandatory coverage of all coverable employees.  Employers have until December 31, 2009 to avail of the penalty condonation for delinquent employers.
