The four chambers of commerce in Cotabato City present a plaque of appreciation to Bai Sandra Sema Basar (far right), vice president for external affairs and co-founder of the Muslim Chamber of Kutawato, following her keynote address at the 8th Cotabato City Business Forum. She spoke about her trip to Washington, D.C. as one of two Philippine representatives to the Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship. The business forum was held by the Metro Cotabato Chamber of Commerce on May 27 in partnership with the city government, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and USAID’s Growth with Equity in Mindanao (GEM) Program, which is implemented under the oversight of the Mindanao Development Authority. The plaque was presented by (l-r): Crisente Ferolino of the Cotabato Chamber, Yu Beng L. Chua of the Cotabato Filipino-Chinese Chamber, Carlito Nunez of DTI-Cotabato City, Eduardo Dela Fuente of the city government, and Perfecto Marquez of the Metro Cotabato Chamber. GEM
